A small structure to be used in the production of wine acts as an object in a landscape and is used as an architectural boundary at one end of a parcel of land, with a single family house at the other end, to create a lanscaped precinct between the two structures. As an object, the building expresses itself in a very formalistic way through the manipulation of volume, material and form itself.

Sebastapol Wine Barn is a winner of the 2008 Redwood Empire Design Awards.
