"My favorite landscapes are accidents. They result from the unplanned accrual of material, chance intervention, and entropy. These accidental spaces are open to a range of uses; they are equally open to interpretation. These public landscapes afford and make themselves available for bodily experience. They offer up visceral experiences, reminding us that the world is lived through the body. The material and spatial condition of these landscapes implore embodied traverse: clambering, climbing, running, falling, and finding. These accidental, aleatoric, landscapes are the subject of my current work."
